Handwoven Nature Landscape With A Tree Kilim Wall Art
The tapestry is made from a mix of 2nd hand materials, mainly my favourite wool, with some acrylic and polyester yarns. The kilim is hung on a polished natural branch, 39 cm long, which adds a simple and organic finish to the piece.

I created this piece as a small woven landscape representing my own place to rest. A peaceful corner surrounded by green, with water nearby and a beautiful tree standing in the landscape. A place to slow down, breathe and simply be.
I wanted to capture the feeling of being surrounded by nature and having a quiet place to return to.
And I think I got it right, because whenever people see this kilim, they immediately reach out their hand as if they want to step right into the landscape.

Swedish Coast – Original Oil Pastel Artwork

This is an original canvas I made after my recent trip to Sweden. The coastline there stayed with me for a looong time — quiet, very often a bit wild, with those small abandoned (or not) huts that reminded me of Scottish bothies. Simple, beautiful landscapes that make you slow down.
I wanted to capture that feeling in this work — something calm you can come back to when you need a bit of space. Maybe a small piece of that place can now hang in your home.
