Hello,
I’m Judyta, a mixed-media artist, illustrator, and handweaver based in Limburg, Belgium. I have a deep love for nature, slow living, and meaningful craftsmanship.
Whether I’m painting, illustrating, or weaving, I focus on creating work that feels personal, thoughtful, and connected to everyday life. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration: from forests and mountains to changing seasons, plants, and animals. Travel, yoga, and everyday moments continually shape the way I see the world and influence my creative process.
Alongside my illustrations and paintings, I recently discovered a new passion: hand weaving. Working with natural fibres allows me to explore texture, colour, and rhythm in a completely different way. It brings a tactile, meditative dimension to my artistic practice and beautifully complements my painted work.
My creative practice includes:
Original Paintings: expressive artworks inspired by nature, emotions, and the beauty of everyday life.
Illustration: custom illustrations celebrating people, animals, and meaningful moments.
Handwoven Art: one-of-a-kind woven wall hangings and fibre art created with natural materials.
Animal Portraits: heartfelt portraits of beloved pets and wildlife.
Invitations & Greeting Cards: bespoke illustrated stationery for life's special occasions.
Live Drawing: capturing memorable moments through live illustration at events.
Whether you're looking for an original artwork, a meaningful gift, a custom illustration, or a unique woven piece, I'd love to create something that feels personal and lasting.
Feel free to explore my portfolio and shop to discover original artworks, woven creations, prints, and illustrated stationery.
Tidbits About Me
I’m originally from Poland, but I’ve been living in Belgium for many years after meeting my Belgian husband.
I’ve spent a few long years studying International Relations and European Studies in Poland, Slovakia, Germany, and France. When the pandemic came, I started sketching and focused more seriously on my artwork. What began as a quiet creative outlet gradually grew into the artistic passion I live today.
Travelling has always been one of my biggest passions. Some of my favourite adventures include several months of solo backpacking in India and Nepal, studying abroad in different countries, and spending more than a year travelling across Europe and part of Asia in a campervan with my husband and our cat.
Nature is where I feel most at home. Forests, mountains, autumn colours, and long walks inspire both my paintings and my woven work. I'm an introvert, a huge tea lover, a devoted cat person, and I try to live in line with vegan principles.
Yoga has been part of my life for many years. I practise regularly and also hold a yoga teacher diploma. It reminds me to slow down, stay present, and create with deeper intention.
I speak fluent Polish and English, and I can also communicate in French and Dutch.
