Handwoven kilim wall hanging with a heart motif surrounded by soft, cloud-like textures.
I made this piece using 2nd hand wool and cotton yarns, with a small amount of acrylic. The heart and bubble-like shapes were created through a lot of improvisation, letting the weaving develop naturally as I worked.
The different textures give the piece a soft, playful and slightly dreamy character, like little clouds woven into the kilim.
The kilim is finished with a natural wooden stick and is ready to hang.
