I made this piece using 2nd hand acrylic wool in different thicknesses. The variation in the yarn creates different textures and adds depth to the surface. I also added a second woven layer over the main piece, creating a kilim within a kilim and giving the work a subtle three dimensional effect.
The kilim is finished with a natural wooden stick and is ready to hang.
